The first fruit produced from yesterday’s post are a couple of new minion-specific Talents. Minions have a pretty rough time at the end of a sword, so giving them a few special abilities is always a fun way to surprise your players. The trick is to give them a singular special talent that gives them as much flavor as possible. So here are a couple to play with:
These minions are all trained in a specialized school of sword fighting. An opponent who is not trained in a Fighting Tradition (ie. lacks the basic talent) suffers –1d to attack and damage rolls against these minions.
Whenever an opponent attacks and misses, or fails to kill at least one minion in this band, these minions may make an immediate counter-attack as a trivial attack action!
